Emergency Reporting Procedures

  1. Contact appropriate emergency service personnel (ZBASE EMERGENCY NUMBER THEN 9-1-1) if emergency help is needed.

  2. Contact council emergency personnel by phone. CONTACT IN ORDER UNTIL YOU REACH SOMEONE:

  3. If the above cannot be reached

  4. Keep your phone line open as much as possible for return calls.

  5. call back contact every 30 minutes (as possible) until the situation is under control.

  6. Secure Scene. Get names of Observers. Keep a written timetable of actions. Get pictures

  7. All public / media comments are to be referred to the base director. DO NOT ISSUE ANY PUBLIC STATEMENTS.

  8. Use the "Incident Reporting Kit" and turn completed documentation into Scott Thiessen along with any notes, witness statements, and pictures to be entered in " Risk Console Incident Reporting System".
